Refund & Return Policy
At Toolstorm, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer solutions within the following guidelines. Please read this policy carefully to understand your options.
Returns & Refunds Eligibility
- Time Frame: We accept returns and process refunds for most new, unopened items within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition with all tags and parts included.
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid receipt or order number for all returns.
Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and practical reasons, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive defective:
- Opened or used chainsaw chains, guide bars, sprockets, or cutting attachments.
- Any power tool assembly that has been installed or used.
- Opened packages of O-ring kits, seal kits, or other small component kits where parts could be missing.
- Items specifically marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance."
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact our customer service team within the 30-day window at support@toolstorm.ca.
- Provide your order number and the reason for the return.
- We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on where to ship the item. Returns received without an RMA number will not be processed.
Return Shipping
- The customer is responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item).
- We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. Toolstorm is not responsible for return items lost or damaged in transit.
- For defective or incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to the original method of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
- Please note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately at support@toolstorm.ca. We will arrange for a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the defective product. This applies even to items normally considered "Final Sale."
Warranty Claims
Many of our products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Please see the product documentation for specific warranty terms. For warranty service, please contact us with your order details and a description of the issue, and we will guide you through the manufacturer's process.
