Refund & Return Policy

At Toolstorm, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer solutions within the guidelines below.

Returns & Refunds Eligibility

  • Time Frame: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition with all parts included.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order number is required.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless defective on arrival:

  • Opened or used chainsaw chains, guide bars, sprockets, or cutting attachments
  • Any power tool or component that has been installed or used
  • Opened O-ring kits, seal kits, or similar items where parts may be missing
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance”

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email support@toolstorm.ca within 30 days of purchase.
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return.
  3. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return instructions.

Returns received without an RMA cannot be processed.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
  • We recommend a trackable and insured service. Toolstorm is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
  • For defective or incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid return label.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Banks and credit card companies may require additional time to post the credit.

Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee may apply to returned items unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Please note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, contact us immediately at support@toolstorm.ca. We will arrange a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label. This applies even to items normally considered final sale.

Warranty Claims

Many products are covered under manufacturer warranty. Contact us with your order number and issue details, and we will guide you through the warranty process.
